If given the proper attention, this debate (ahem, discussion) could stir the masses and spark riots in the streets, but more than likely it will send you to one of the four Chinese-style restaurants on your block. But, which one do you choose and what do you order? That’s the debate on Facebook (follow it here) and will eventually get its on Top 5 list. We thought it was too important to just sling together our list. Favorite Chinese restaurant in SGF and Discuss!

My initial thought is Hong Kong Inn and the cashew chicken, so maybe I should go with that, BUT with any thought (and this topic deserves a lot of that) I hedge on both location and item.

I’ll start with the food which is a simple General Chicken vs. Cashew Chicken. They have both played a major part in my life and it’s hard to give either the favor. As a child, cashew ruled my roost, but as I grew so did my taste for spicy. Most times I want the spice to make the area just below my eyes to sweat. It’s hotter than tears. Trust me.

Proximity might play the biggest factor in Hong Kong Inn holding such high regard. I have lived all over this city, but have always been close to an HKI location. It doesn’t hurt that the price is always right and it’s delicious. The Riksha makes a great general chicken and the Fire and Ice Cashew Chicken recipe is phenomenal. Five Spice deserves a nod as well while many votes will get tossed in the direction of Mr. Yens. I am yet mention the best chicken, which has got to be Chinese Chef. That’s got to be a big factor, too.

Please, HELP! I’m so torn. Help us figure it out!
