The DGB Watch, Week 7: Career night (and more state records)

tagsgf dorial green beckham 199x300 The DGB Watch, Week 7: Career night (and more state records)With all the national hype Hillcrest High School senior Dorial Green-Beckham has been receiving, it’s good to keep track of his ridiculous accomplishments. We did it last year, and we’re doing it again. And DGB just outdid himself.

DGB set a state record for the most receiving yardage in a single game, torching Rolla’s secondary for 354 yards and 3 touchdowns on 13 catches. According to the 2008-2009 edition of the MSHSAA record book, DGB broke the 312-yard mark set by Mountain Grove’s Austin Stigall in 2002.

With 3 weeks left in the regular season, he now has nearly 1,500 more yards than any other receiver in Missouri high school football history.

If you’re not familiar with DGB’s status, he is the No. 1 rated high school football player in the contry and sought after by every college program that matters. For more answers on him, read up on our DGB FAQ.

The 6-foot-5 1/2, 220 wide receiver with a 4.43 40-yard dash was named the MaxPreps National Athlete of the year as a sophomore because of his accomplishments in football, basketball and track and field.

We summed all of it up with a week-by-week breakdown and follow it up with his new status in the state record book. Thus, DGB’s senior season in a statistical nutshell.
