Glendale senior Adam Noble started the year on the defensive side of the ball. But has started the last three games at quarterback and has been a workhorse out of an offense he related to the Wildcat. In his first two starts, he carried the ball 77 times for 299 yards. Now with running back Trevor Vaughn healthy and first-year receiver Cameron Johnson, junior, turning into one of the best deep threats in the area* the Falcons are suddenly dangerous with multiple weapons.
A once 0-5 team after losing to Hillcrest on Homecoming is suddenly a little scary, and has won two-in-a row. The first a District win at Central and then a convincing come from behind victory last week against Ozark. “After that fifth loss, we were thinking it was going to be another one of those years,” Noble said. But, now, without a loss in games that matter (district games), “anything can happen.”
Noble got his first start at QB after Glendale lost to Kickapoo in week four, and even though Kickapoo downplayed the rivalry, he said the Falcons maintain a strong dislike for the ‘Poo.
