In “SGFers acting classy” news, video of a fight at an SGF strip club (err, gentleman’s club) will be aired on TruTV. Maybe Missouri’s new strip club laws will curb this behavior.
We are acknowledging this because it happened in SGF. It will not portray our city in the best light, but sometimes, you know … if the shoe fits. The video was posted five months ago on a few different YouTube accounts – one of them quickly passed the 12,000-views mark. The footage will debut on Most Shocking – a TruTV series – at 8 p.m. on Wednesday (August 31). The show’s full title is World’s Most Shocking Bare Knuckle Brawls. The action took place in the parking lot of the Pony.
Don’t let your kids watch the show. It’s violent, there’s bad language and at certain points a moon tries to appear. A security guard mostly watches, and police were either never called, or never responded.
(Full Disclosure: I captured this video following my bachelor party. TruTV offered me too much money to not pass along the rights. And, yes, we would post this if somebody else had the footage. Somehow in my condition I went into journalist mode and even tried to interview the girls postgame style – it went very poorly and then another fight erupted. Long story short, don’t get in fights. We have cameras and are not afraid to put you on blast if you do something reckless.)
