Fools Face is one of the most recognizable names in music to come from Springfield. In the early 80′s, they were one of the most successful acts around. They achieved critical acclaim and opened for many notable acts while releasing numerous singles and albums. Soon after moving to California to further pursue music, the band disbanded to pursue individual careers.
Jim Wirt has gone on to be a successful music producer working with the likes of Incubus, Hoobastank, Fiona Apple and more. Others have gone on to become songwriters and still play occasionally. Here and there Fools Face will get back together to play mostly covers and have a good time with family, friends and fans. Its for the love of music, and that’s what we here at TAGsgf love to hear. The latest incarnation will include some original members with some help from additional musicians. They are looking to play mostly covers and have fun. What more could you ask for but fun?
TAGsgf.com is proud to present Fools Face at Patton Alley Pub on Saturday, August 14. Show starts after 9pm. $10 cover and 21+ only. They will be joined by The Smooth Mother Falcon Band in support (who is sure to make you get up and dance).
