There’s plenty to take in tonight in midtown at the First Friday Art Walk. Here’s the short list of where to start.

* Smart Group and Gallery (405 W Walnut) debuts as a stop with displays from Cincinnati’s Juli Cady Ryan and SGF’s Carla Stine.

* DB Design Salon & Art Gallery (326 S. Campbell) – featuring photography by Jim Mayfield and watercolor by Debra Sutherland.

* Historic Gillioz Theatre (325 Park Central East) – The Gillioz Restoration Project revisits photographs, architectural drawings and more compiled by Matt Loveland.

Artists

* Stephanie Cramer at Inveno Health (429 N Boonville) – The vibrant colors and landscapes of Cramer find a home in the development areas of Inveno.

* Clarissa French at Fitzwilly’s (308 South Ave) – Celebrating Independence Day with fireworks photography by French.

Other notes

* Drury Pool Art Center and MSU Brick City are closed, but Evangel’s Bellwether Gallery is open.
