We’ve been warning you, and letting you know that Winter’s Bone is finally going to be up for mass public consumption.
Now it’s time to eat.
The film that captured best film and screenplay at the Sundance Film Festival, and has received legions of positive reviews is making its Springfield theater debut Friday at Campbell 16. The catch? The movie that was exclusively filmed in Stone and Christian counties with many local actors and was also based on Daniel Woodrell’s local novel of the same title, will only be in theaters up until July 1. You can purchase tickets from Wehrenberg’s site here.
As for tonight, TAGsgf.com’s Chris DeRosier and I are heading to tonight’s pre-screening Campbell 16. If you still need some more convincing to see the flick, we will have more behind-the-scenes coverage of the event, including a fresh post-movie Q&A with staff and crew.
If you haven’t heard much about the movie and are yet to make up your mind, or you can’t get enough of the film, enjoy the following barrage of media coverage.
Of course, we’ll start with ours:
- Click here to read TAGsgf.com’s official review by Allen Vaughan.
- Listen to the audio of the post-screening Q&A with cast, crew and the audience.
- Watch our video Q&A with actress Lauren Sweetser.
