The Show Report, 6/15: Hello, Carrie

It seems like it’s been an eternity since we first brought you word of country megastar Carrie Underwood‘s impending concert at JQH Arena. Okay, really it’s been about four months… four months that are now up. Underwood’s bus should be arriving at The Q any time now if it isn’t there already, along with those of openers Craig Morgan and Sons Of Sylvia. It’s only the second concert held at The Q since its opening in late 2008 and the first since The Eagles were flown in to help christen the facility. In short, this show is a big deal for the arena. It’s big among fans, too; the show has been sold out since tickets went on sale soon after the initial info leak. For a Grammy and CMA award winner, American Idol Season 4 champ and the youngest member of The Grand Ole Opry, it should be worth it.
