Given that the concert is four days away, the announcement that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is coming to Remmingtons Downtown Saturday, June 19 is a bit of a blindside, but at least we can say it’s happening. We received official word today via email from the show’s promoters, Hungry Boy Entertainment, the same group that brought Murphy Lee to SGF back in April. Doors for the concert are scheduled to open at 8 p.m. and you can purchase tickets in advance at Stick It In Your Ear or at Eye Candy in the Battlefield Mall for $10, $15 day of show or $30 for undisclosed VIP privileges.
Also listed in the concert’s page on Craigslist–yes, Craigslist–is at least one opportunity to meet the group. The page actually lists two: one each at the Eye Candy location inside Battlefield Mall at 4 p.m. Saturday and a second “north location” Eye Candy store (there is only one Eye Candy location in Springfield, by the way) at 6 p.m. Probably best to plan on attending the 4 o’clock and call it good.
Bone Thugs is on tour supporting its latest album, UNI-5: The World’s Enemy, released on May 4. If you’re not familiar, here’s the video to their single “See Me Shine” to familiarize you a bit:
Of course, it’s pretty likely you’ll get to hear them perform this classic jam, too:
