Galleries and Exhibits

* Art Transforms Downtown at Monarch Art Factory – Randy Bacon Photography, Figment Art Gallery and Missouri State unveil the permanent exhibit on Main Street. That’s not all. Look at work by Parker Asay, Cindy Dobson, Shawn McLaughlin and Randy Bacon (including a new video). Toss in a live DJ and free face painting.

* Urban Art at LemonDrop – With live art and hip hop setting the scene, check out the use of spray paint, stencils, acrylic by Francois Lariviere, Nicholas Tarr, Houston Ussery, and Zac Swanson.

Artists

* Nicholas Tarr at One80One and LemonDrop – Tarr works in all media and will be busy with work displayed at both locations. Have you seen the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital? It’s a slice of his handiwork.

* Shaun B at Global Fayre – Shaun B, author of The Paranormal Cookbook, is a local paranormal investigator. He will be signing copies of the book, which dances around the line of science and science fiction.

* Clarissa French at Fitzwilly’s – From plants to the seasons, French captures fresh shots of the natural, with a cool antique shop as the backdrop.
