It’s not just any show when you walk into The Outland Ballroom and see a man standing on top of his upright bass while he plays it. The Koffin Kats were one of the craziest shows to come through in quite some time when the slid, jumped and played their hearts out on the Ballroom stage last October, and word just came down the three-man punk group is coming back May 7. The show will be open to all ages and will cost $8 with an extra $2 for minors service charge. Since the Bolivar-based punk rock label Zero Youth Records is co-presenting the show, you can expect to see a healthy lineup of ZYR-signed bands on the lineup as openers. (So far one, Brutally Frank, has been announced.) Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
