Springfield Little Theatre hosts Geppetto’s string pulling

Since 1863, Pinocchio has been the symbol of honesty. The story of Geppetto, a carpenter, carving the wooden puppet who dreams of being a “real boy” was a popular folklore lesson long before Walt Disney ripped it in the 1940 film. Under the direction of Stephanie Judkins, SGFers have 10 days to see the story in a different form, live theatre, at Historic Landers Theatre. The show is scheduled to run March 4-14.
