The Assembly Line Gods 2010 Preview Vid, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Face Melting

ALG Logo 250x187 The Assembly Line Gods 2010 Preview Vid, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Face MeltingAs we have mentioned before, local hard-rock group Assembly Line Gods are currently holed away in the studio of Grammy award-winning producer Tom Whitlock working with Brandon Mashburn on their next album. There have been occasional leaks from the band’s video diary of the recording process, but nothing that provided a solid picture of what the finished results might sound like. Problem solved. The group’s latest YouTube vid is a compilation of moments from the studio and live shows as well as their music video for the Shelter For My Enemy cut “SevenEight”–and all set to a rough mix of one of the tracks from the next album, titled “Vacancy.” If you have seen the band’s live show recently, the song will probably sound familiar, though the recorded version sounds a lot more taut and holds the relatively calm vocals and tense, uptempo music in greater contrast. Check it out for yourself:
