Springfield Movie Times and Tinsel Town Report (2/5-2/12): Travolta reverts to gun play in new feature

John Travolta went from broad to bad ass in From Paris with Love.

John Travolta went from broad to bad ass in From Paris with Love.

Last week Mel Gibson made his return to the screen. This week John Travolta returns in From Paris with Love (as a male, to boot!). Travolta plays the mouthy partner of a low-ranking operative in France. Have you seen it before? Yes, but you were entertained, and will be again. Also opening this week is another romantic comedy. Dear John is a love story based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks. Soldier falls in love with a student. Fan reviews are consistently strong throughout the interwebs, so guys go ahead and bite the bullet. You may win some points.

This week’s Spring Vegas lock is Travolta in From Paris with Love. Hopefully the gender operation was successful from when he was a fat chick who sang too much. The Oscar mentioned Crazy Heart hits the Moxie. It’s the sleepers of the week.
