The random thought of cost for Super Bowl tickets crossed TAGSGF.com's collective mind. In short, the numbers aren't very small.

(Leading into Super Sunday, TagSGF.com is going to look at some random notes of interest. Also, don’t forget about joining the TagSGF.com crew at Boomers for the best Super Bowl party in town.)

Knowing full well that it was just a daydream (and that brews at Boomers would be a better time) we took a curious stroll through the Interwebs in search of the best (and least expensive) tickets we could find to Super Bowl XLIV. We ventured a couple guesses at the ballpark price range, with some element of success ($1,200 was my guess). The cheapest seat in the stadium I could find had an $1,153 price tag attached.

Here are six of the most popular sporting-event ticket websites and the bottom (and top, for fun) prices of seats in south Florida. The rough average cost for a single ticket is just more than $4,000. (Check out the cost of the luxury suites – $280,000 for one party, and that’s just four hours of the party. Most other outlying events cost at least a grand)

Ticket Liquidator – $1,195 (top row) – $188,500 (32-person fully catered Private suite – $5,890.63/person)

TicketMaster: $1,350 (two rows from) – $226,000 (40-person fully catered Private suite – $5,650/person)

CoasttoCoastTickets: $1,153 (top row) – $65,520 (12-person fully catered suite – $5,460/person)

Stub Hub – $1,393 (top row): $247,065 (unclassified section, 40-person luxury suite, $6,176.63)

Ticket Solutions: $1,265 (third row from top) – $281,250 (40-person luxury suite – $7,031.25/person)

Ticket Network: $1,195 (top row) – $190,001 (32-person luxury suite – $5,937.53/person)
