In an effort to keep my insatiable appetite for Thursday’s unveiling on the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions in check, here is our Day 2 update for T of C week.
• As expected, UFCA forward and future Mizzou Tiger Kadeem Green will miss the T of C. The News-Leader’s Michael Stacy talks about it here, as well as Kickapoo’s side of things.
• Sure, Christ the King has had Lamar Odom, Khalid Reeves, Omar Cook, Erving Walker, and countless other stars through the years, but CTK coach Joe Arbitello told the NY Post, 6-foot-4 sophmore Omar Calhoun might be the best. Wow. That’s high praise.

Ian Miller
• United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, N.C.) and future Florida State guard Ian Miller and former NBAer Muggsy Bogues have an interesting story. The Charlotte Observer captures it here.
• Of course, if you missed our Ultimate Tournament of Champions Guide, it’s a must-read. It’s considered an appetizer, but it satisfies like a full meal. Click the link above, if you haven’t already. It gives you everything you need to know about the out-of-town teams, including bios on the studs, plus Web links and videos.
• If you missed yesterday’s Tournament of Champions Party Starter, click here. Just like this post, it’s full of links collected on Monday.
