What a week for concert news. Not only did it become official that Willie Nelson will be playing The Shrine Mosque next month, but now we find out Seattle indie singer-songwriter David Bazan, who has previously performed solo under the name Pedro the Lion, will be performing at Randy Bacon Photography Studio & Gallery’s Gallery Sounds concert series on March 13–with a full band–with Champaigne, Illinois group Headlights serving as the opening act.
It’s not the first time Bazan played Springfield; in fact, he last came to the city in October 2006:
Tickets aren’t available yet, but doors open at 7 p.m. and music will start at 8. We’re working now on getting ticket info and we’ll pass it along as soon as it comes, and you’ll want to act fast; this show is a lock to sell out.
