Some good news for the new year ahead: Local hardcore group Fearless Before Persecution, dismantled in June 2008, is back with a new lineup, a revived concert to headline and a promotion company back from hiatus to put it all on.
According to the band’s MySpace page, Fearless Before Persecution is back playing shows for the first time in a year and a half, with old members Greg Vance (drums) and Anthony Gordon (bass) now joined by Quentin Biggs (formerly of Lebanon group New Jack City) on vocals and Zach Mourning(formerly of Blood On the Ground) and Rob Baldock (formerly of Killing Your Allegiance) on guitars.
So when can you see Fearless Mach II onstage? Glad you asked. Consider some hair of the dog after your New Year’s partying, because the band is back January 1 at The Outland Ballroom as part of the similarly revived Murderfest concert (which, to mark the occasion, is being officially titled “Murderfest: Resurrection“) along with When Words Become Flesh (formerly Mourning After Massacre),The Murlesque and The Allen Array. The show is a product of Vance Productions, the promotion company run by FBP drummer Greg Vance that has been on hiatus the last couple of months. The show costs $10 and doors open at 8 p.m. The second coming is nigh.
