The First Teenager Ever announces CD release concert

Picture-7If a CD is released and there’s no corresponding party, did the release really happen? The First Teenager Ever won’t give you the chance to find out. The band’s album has been out for a little while now, sure, but it’s finally party time and the band is throwing one in style. Bring a pointy hat and streamers… okay, maybe not, but be prepared to get your new-album groove on.

The band will hold its CD release party at The Ugly Mug Live Music Tavern (3050 N. Kentwood Ave.) on Friday, December 18 with openers Ghost Dance and White Atlantic. Naturally, the band’s self-titled debut album will be available at the show for $5. No word yet on the show’s cover charge, but we’ll pass that along when it becomes available. By the way, this makes the second CD release show scheduled at the brand-new Ugly Mug since its opening November 27. Could it become the new get-your-album-out hotspot already? Hmmm…. if you release an album and your party isn’t at the Ugly Mug, did it really happen…
