TAG 5: Sports Bars

(TAG 5 is a top five list compiled by secret ballot, submitted by the four horsemen of TAG. An extremely complicated equation is used to calculate the polls. Mostly they are related to SGF, sometimes they are not. A new TAG 5 is released every Monday.)

Ebbet’s Field took the pole in leading off TAG 5 as the area’s best sports bar. Ebbet’s has made great strides in terms of TV location and in warm months, there’s nothing better than watching baseball on the patio. It received two first-place votes along with Skybox, which has a strong following, as well (the toilet televisions in the men’s room will always be a favorite.) The fifth spot came down to a tie-break between Fox and Hound, Big Whiskey’s and Billiard’s, but one reader vote could change the outlook of this poll entirely.
